Total premiums in Canada rose to $122 billion in 2019.** Year-
over-year growth was led by annuities (including segregated
funds), up 5.2 per cent; followed by life insurance, up 5.1 per
cent; and health insurance, up 4.1 per cent.
Insurers are focused on
customer satisfaction
