Travel Insurance • The CLHIA struck a Task Force on Travel Insurance with the mandate to undertake a fundamental review of the travel insurance market and develop recommendations for changes. The Task Force has reached consensus on a number of important recommendations geared towards addressing the CCIR's concern that consumers must have confidence in their travel coverage. • In addition, the CLHIA worked closely with the CCIR as they developed and initiated a detailed industry survey to better understand the travel insurance landscape.
