xvi. OECD Project to Prevent Base
Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS)
• CLHIA's advocacy on the OECD's
Base Erosion and Profit Shifting
(BEPS) action plans has successfully
resulted in positive changes to
some of the OECD's proposals
released to date, in that they now
respect the unique and regulated
nature of our industry.
xvii. Administrative/Operational
• In an effort to ensure that CLHIA
employees understand that we
value their contributions and efforts
and also that the CLHIA becomes
an employer of choice, this year the
Association carried out an extensive
employee engagement survey to
determine where we can improve.
In addition, we are in the midst of
completing a position-by-position
compensation review, something
that has not been undertaken by
the Association in decades. In the
coming year, the results of the
two projects will be assessed and
any necessary changes will be
considered for implementation.
