decision-making and oversight of the many areas we are working on. We have also continued to make great strides in our advocacy efforts on behalf of the industry. This April, we held our seventh Industry Advocacy Day on Parliament Hill which was highly successful. Meetings with Members of Parliament and senior officials were constructive and, for the first time, we had the opportunity to meet with three Cabinet Ministers (Finance, Infrastructure and Communities, International Trade). We also held a second successful Advocacy Day in Quebec. Further, we are continuing to build the CLHIA's profile in the media and represent the industry on a growing list of topics. Since we started our advocacy work in 2010, our presence in the media has increased 30-fold. The CLHIA also successfully launched last year, two web-based resources targeted to consumers. The first was Retiring Soon? aimed at Canadians on the cusp of retirement. Then later in the year we launched No Time Like Now which is Council members. It has also been my pleasure and fortune to have been able to work with such capable and committed staff. I wish the CLHIA the very best and am sure that with Stephen Frank taking over the lead, the list of achievements will only continue to grow in the years ahead. Frank Swedlove targeted to young adults including the all-important millennial audience – the industry's customers of the future. The CLHIA will continue to build on both of these resources in the months ahead, particularly through social media, to improve their reach and effectiveness. In Closing Let me close by saying that it has been a terrific ten years. I have enjoyed essentially every day of my time at the CLHIA and am particularly grateful for the unwavering support given to me by the Board and A Message from the President and CEO Board of Directors Review of the Year's Results CLHIA Code of Member Service Members CLHIA Officers Chair's Message
